LIT II is designed for eleventh and twelfth grade students from the local high schools. This program starts at the beginning of each school year and concludes by December. LIT II includes team building activities, job shadowing experiences and a public speaking component. The public speaking component is lead by the Toastmasters Organization. Upon completion of this program the students have a clearer view of what type of jobs they may or may not be interested in and will have developed the skills necessary to speak in public with confidence.
The registration for the 10th LIT II class 2011-2012 school year will be held during the first two weeks of school in the fall, with a deadline to apply date of September 9, 2011
